Thirsty for some new athleticwear? You've come to the right place.

Every Thursday, Lululemon adds a plethora of new product picks to their We Made Too Much section — and we're loving this week's new additions, like their Base Pace High-Rise Running Tight and Energy Bra, as well as some under-the-radar scores, like the On My Level Bucket Hat.

This week, Yahoo Canada editors have their eyes one We Made Too Much item in particular: the Fast and Free High-Rise Short 8".

These high-rise shorts are designed for running, but could, of course, be worn more casually with an oversized sweater à la Princess Diana.

Shoppers call them "the best running shorts."

"Amazing shorts! I typically don't wear shorts while running because they always ride up on me but that was not the case with these," one shopper wrote. "They stayed in place throughout my entire race, [and] felt supportive but not restrictive."

Another shopper said they'd been on the hunt for shorts like this for a long time.

"These checked all the boxes, plus [they] are incredible soft and look cute," they wrote.

Lululemon fans love that these shorts have tons of pockets to store the necessary items, like your phone and keys.

"They have storage for phone and nutrition which makes them perfect for marathon training," one person said.

One shopper noted that the leg opening is a bit smaller than the average short, but added that they "don't mind it too much because that means they don't ride up."

Function aside, plenty of shoppers love the colours these shorts come in and are begging for more options.

"I, for one, would buy them all," one shopper proclaimed.

It’s neither surprising, nor necessarily new scuttlebutt, but one of the most reliable Apple news scoopers of all time has chimed in to say that Apple is indeed at least serious enough about a potential switch from Lightning to USB-C on future iPhones that it’s doing testing with models equipped with the latter connector. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple has been testing iPhone prototypes with USB-C ports in recent months, and that it’s also working on an adapter that would allow iPhones equipped with the more ubiquitous connector to still work with accessories designed with Lightning in mind. Don’t chuck those Lightning cables in the trash just yet: Gurman’s report says that the earliest this could possibly happen is 2023, as the design for the current new iPhones likely arriving fall 2022 are set with Lightning on board like their predecessors.
