Kylie Jenner may have attended the 2022 Met Gala without her “love” Travis Scott, but she still brought bridal vibes to the big night.

And while sharing some behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram Tuesday, the beauty mogul revealed the reason behind the Off-White wedding dress she chose for the red carpet: It was meant as a tribute to the brand’s founder, Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021 at the age of 41.

“Virgil and i were supposed to go to the Met together before it got postponed in 2020,” Jenner, 24, wrote in her caption.

“To celebrate V tonight and his incredible legacy truly means the world to me. i’m humbled to wear this dress and honor my talented beautiful friend. we felt you tonight Virgil and love you forever. & thank u to the entire @off____white team !!”

The 24-year-old reality star’s gown included a dramatic ruffled skirt and a draped bodice atop a mesh T-shirt with the Off-White logo. Jenner accessorized with a veil attached to a backwards baseball hat.

A similar look closed the label’s fall 2022 show – Abloh’s final collection.

Jenner changed into a second, equally wedding-worthy Off-White look for the afterparty circuit: a slinky silk slip with a corseted bodice and sheer sleeves.

“Married to the met,” she captioned pics of the outfit.

Marriage rumors have swirled around Jenner and Scott, 31, for years. In March, Jenner sparked fresh engagement buzz when she shared a snap of her French-manicured hand with two dazzling diamond rings.

The couple have dated on and off since 2017, and share two children: daughter Stormi, 4, and a 3-month-old son whose name they have yet to disclose. (Previously, the infant was called Wolf, but the parents had a change of heart.)

This marked the first year all of the Kardashian-Jenner women attended the Met Gala together, and they celebrated by snapping multiple family photos at the fête.

While it wasn’t a wedding, it seems fashion’s biggest night was still fun for the whole family.
