DISCUSSION: Welcome to the weekend! Today will be the rainiest day of the next 3 days. We started the day with mostly clear skies, and now the rain chances will increase throughout the morning. Allow extra time to get from Point A to Point B this morning. This weekend is shaping up to be an overall nice weekend. The only hiccup will be tomorrow, where I am not ruling out a rain chance or two. Definitely do not cancel your outdoor plans, but take the raingear with you just in case you get under a shower or two. Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with plenty of sun, and highs staying in the low – mid 80s.

WE NEED THE RAIN! Here are just a few places who could use a good soaking from mother nature as they are well below normal for this time of year.

HIGHS TODAY: Consider this a “Taste of Fall” if you will. Highs today will be in the 60s & 70s.

Below normal temperatures will remain in the forecast for the next several days. Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with mostly sunny skies. Saturday will be okay as well, but the reason why I am favoring Sunday is because I am not going to rule out a rain chance for Saturday. I wouldn’t cancel your plans at all, but just take the umbrella with you just in case you get under a brief shower or two.
