Ducati has revealed its latest Lamborghini Huracán STO-inspired Streetfighter V4 limited edition motorcycle.
Back in the late 80s Lamborghini had a go at making a motorcycle, it was a spectacular flop, and it put them off motorcycles for several years.
Ever since Ducati joined them under the Volkswagen umbrella, the demand for some sort of collaboration always seemed to be on the cards. Then finally those rumors became reality in 2021 with the launch of the Diavel Lamborghini, an odd choice of motorcycle and an even more polarizing choice of color.
It left most fans wanting more, and now, with the Streetfighter Lamborghini, we most certainly have the Lamborghini bike of our dreams.
Few motorcycles are able to capture the imagination like the Streetfighter, it is an incredible hyper-naked that delivers sportbike performance.
It also gives the Lamborghini designers the freedom to choose what parts to change without fear of disturbing the precious aerodynamics of the Panigale.
The most obvious design change is that of the wheels, which have been designed to look exactly like the Huracán STO rims down to the titanium center nut.
The mudguard has also been redesigned to look exactly like the hood (or frunk if you will) and the rear seat cover is designed to look like the engine cover of the STO. The design is subtle enough not to notice, though, and the bike still looks every bit a Streetfighter.

All of those common bits are made of carbon fiber, including just about everything else, even the end cap of the titanium exhaust is made of carbon fiber.
The louver and belly pan of the Lambo also make an appearance on the Ducati, on the tank cover of the bike and the air intake that also features the STO logo. Also, all made of carbon fiber.
The choice of matching colors has more to do with the livery of the STO than anything, with a color they call “Verde Citrea” (or lime green) over “Arancio Dac” (or orange).
It is a bold color choice, but works rather well in contrast with the black, and the big number 63 adds to the race theme of the motorcycle. That 63 technically pertains to the year Lamborghini was founded, but by a happy sort of coincidence it is also the number Pecco Bagnaia races under in the MotoGP.

So one of the few things left untouched is the sumptuous V4, but we would be remiss not to at least touch on it.
It is this engine that really makes this the perfect motorcycle to wear a Lamborghini badge, 208 horsepower is superbike power befitting the nomenclature of a supercar.
To keep all that power in check, Ducati have one of the leading electronics packages, but when it comes to hardware there is nothing more important than the brakes.
Brembo is the best in the business, and they take care of that, Öhlins also make the best suspension components in the business and that is also what you will find here on this limited edition, nothing but the best.

Ducati will only be making 630 of these gorgeous machines, making them rather exclusive, but their target market for this bike will likely appreciate that.
Sadly this is not an attainable motorcycle, and will be priced as such, the Streetfighter is already one of the most expensive production motorcycles money can buy and this will cost twice as much.
If the regular Streetfighter Lamborghini isn’t exclusive enough for you, then the Lamborghini Speciale Clienti is the one for you, because only 63 of these will be commissioned within the 630 production run.
The catch is you have to already own a Huracán STO, then you can match the bike to the color and design of your car (we suppose they might agree to sell you one if you order them as a set, but no mention of that).

With bikes like this exclusivity is guaranteed, how collectible they will be one day is certainly hard to call, but we suspect this might hold its value.
Currently, Ducati have determined its value, with all the added “lightness” and Lambo touches, to be $68,000. If you are already an STO owner and want one of the 63, then you will need to fork out $83,000. Not for the faint of heart.
It is an obvious partnership on so many levels, they share several common views on style and performance and above all else, they are the Italians owned by Germans.
These are dream machines, and no matter how overpriced the Streetfighter may seem, if you have this kind of money then it is worth making a dream a reality.
