As the summer progresses, so is Blossom Music Center’s summer concert season. Following a year devoid of live music performances, a refresher on the ins and outs of Blossom Music Center seems to be in order.
So far, 20 artists will perform at the outdoor music center between July 31 and Oct. 15, though there is always the possibility of additional concerts, according to Barry Gabel, senior vice president of marketing and sponsorship. The genres on stage will range from country to rock to modern pop.

Though social distancing will not be required at Blossom, those who are not vaccinated are recommended to wear face coverings unless they are eating, drinking or exempt from wearing a face covering.
“At this point, individuals need to protect their own health,” said Tonia Burford, director of environmental health at Summit County Public Health. “If you feel comfortable and you feel like you still need to wear a mask, you should wear it. We have to be careful as this delta variant starts moving through. Just make sure you take control of your health.”
Attendees are advised to keep an eye on Blossom’s website and social media handles because social distancing and mask guidelines are subject to change, said Gabel.
Concertgoers should prepare to scan their tickets digitally with their mobile device to enter. Attendees should screenshot their ticket with its barcode or save it to their mobile wallet prior to the event. Tickets are no longer being emailed or made printable for events.
Physical tickets for shows produced by Live Nation that were rescheduled from 2020 will be honored, according to Gabel.

The main entrance to Blossom, off Steels Corners Road, is what most people use to get in and out of the music venue, but the entrance off Northampton Road also is an option.
Those dropping a guest off should use the Steels Corners entrance and stay in the far-right lane when arriving. Parking staff will direct drivers to the designated drop off area at O’Neil Road.
Attendees using ride sharing applications such as Uber or Lyft should notify parking attendants so that they can be directed to Blossom’s designated Uber/Lyft area. When using Uber or Lyft to get picked up, ensure that the driver arrives no later than 9 p.m. so that they can be directed to the pickup area in parking Lot B. Drivers that arrive later than 9 p.m. will have to wait on Steels Corners until they are directed by the sheriff’s department to grass Lot 4.
The first of Blossom’s two parking locations is a grassy area that requires a short walk to the amphitheater and the other is a paved lot recommended for the elderly and disabled. Parking passes are available for purchase until 10 days prior to each show.
Concertgoers will need to put their belongings in clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that are no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
Be aware that Blossom Music Festival concerts with The Cleveland Orchestra operate under different guidelines than Live Nation concerts. Check https://www.clevelandorchestra.com for information.
“I think we are all just excited to get back to the shows we love and artists we’ve missed,” Gabel said. “Crew, fans and staff are excited and ready to be back.”
